BANG ONE OUT FOR CHARITY

Wanking

About the campaign

What's happening

On Saturday 19th March 2011, we will be holding the first official, Red Nob Day. To raise money and awareness for testicle and prostate cancer, we're asking men around the world to bash one out and donate just £2 (or as much as you can afford) for charity.

Why are we doing this?

Testicular and prostate cancer kills many men each year. And we take our bits for granted. We're trying to raise £10,000 for the Male Cancer Awareness Campaign*who offer support and promote awareness for male cancers.

Who's behind this?

Just 3 guys who work in advertising. We want to do something good for charity. So we're doing this in our spare time to try and help beat cancer. We've had friends and family affected by these cancers and we think more should be done to try and beat it.

Do I really have to wank?

No, not if you don't want to. But even if you agree or like our campaign and want to put a stop to male cancers, then please donate just £2, or as much as you can afford.

This is an awesome new approach to raise money for Testicular and Prostate cancer. Just for the sheer comedy value should make people donate. Its not your usual type of charity campaign, your boring please donate pull at the heart strings kind of advert. These guys are taking what, shall we say men do best and certainly an enjoyable experience to create awareness to people (men) of this problem. So come on guys take advantage of a day where most of your partners won't actually mind if you bang one out.
So tell your friends and get everyone involved..Facebook, Twitter any form you wish.

Stella Artois Cidre will be supported with a "double-digit" million-pound marketing spend and will hit shelves at Easter.
The 4.5% Belgian cider will be unveiled at a London event later today (2 February), marking the first time a leading lager brand has moved in to the cider category.
Stella, which is owned by AB InBev, is capitalising on the growing popularity of cider in the UK. The market is expected to grow by 45% in the UK over the next five years, according to Mintel.
Stella Artois Cidre will be brewed in Belgium using Jonagold apples. It will be sold in 568ml bottles and 440ml cans.
The Stella advertising account is handled by Mother, the creator of last November's 'Ice Lounge' ad.

Samsung: looking for agency to handle global social-media
Rival handset manufacturers Samsung and HTC are  looking to hire agencies to re-invigorate their social-media strategies.
Samsung is on the hunt for a digital agency to handle its global social-media account, while HTC has approached agencies to look after its pan-European activity.
Both brands are already active in the social-media space, but are keen to differentiate themselves in a crowded market.
In November, Samsung became the first brand in the UK to advertise on YouTube’s mobile site, in support of its Galaxy Tab.
HTC is running a campaign for its Wildfire handset on its Facebook page. Visitors to the page are asked to submit an idea for what they would do if they could get all of their Facebook friends together in one place for the day.
Samsung’s Galaxy smartphones and HTC handsets use Google’s Android operating system.
